Each week, we feature a favourite collaboration between brand and creator, this week is the turn of @theboywhobakes and Magnum.
For Easter Sunday, Magnum were celebrating the joys of Sundays and how Easter Sunday can be made even better with a 'me-time'. The content was created for Magnum and the creator's Instagram, and as part of an interview with the Magnum blog.
Edd Kimber is a food writer and stylist. He has written recipes for Waitrose Food, has published three books, and was the first ever winner of a little TV series called the Great British Bake Off. You might have heard of it.
The brief was all about taking a moment of me time and for me personally that just means a lazy Sunday, sleeping in and staying under the covers as long as possible, so it made total sense to do something based around that idea. I originally tried to do an image on my actual bed but my bedroom is pretty dark so that is actually my duvet on the living room floor!
Who doesn't love Magnums? I have a rule that I only work with companies who makes a product I use or like so Magnum was a nice fit, plus its nice to work with a company who's product I can eat or drink when we have finished!
I think the images I created sit really nicely between my style and Magnum's own so I am still happy with the work and it is nice to see Magnums multiple accounts around the world using the images over the last few weeks
Thanks Edd and Magnum!
