Each week, we feature a favourite collaboration between brand and creator, this week is the turn of @GeorgieStClair and Team Flower.
Flowers are big business online. With flower photography trending on Instagram, online florists booming and flower inspiration everywhere on Pinterest, Team Flower have developed online courses for those interested in taking their knowledge of flowers from basic to expert. They wanted to work with key flower artists to promote their courses to a wider audience.
Georgie St Clair is an artist and illustrator with a particular focus on florals. Her content is elegant, pretty, playful and colourful. She has collaborated with many brands including Adobe, Sass & Belle, Stylist Magazine for Sally Hansen Nails, and Vichy, and her prints are available to buy online.
Inspiration for the Team Flower collaboration was easy since, as you can see from my feed, I adore florals! It was a spring time collaboration and the florals I used for the shot had to be ‘seasonal’. So I used tulip petals, spraying out of a perfume bottle to suggest spreading the word out for Team Flower.
I really like their idea, brand and ethos. In addition their aesthetic and branding fits with my feed and visual style perfectly. Plus I can honestly say I really like what they are doing and as my caption said, I’d like to learn more floristry skills one day.
The Finished Product
I really enjoyed working on this collaboration with Team Flower. They were very approachable and open to ideas and really good at communicating during the collaboration. I think that’s important, if you want to make the most of the brand/influencer relationship.
Thanks a bunch, Team Flower and Georgie!
